On October 22, 2019 Hyperconverged Infrastructure Forum 2019 (“Hyperconverged Infrastructure 2019”) was held in the banquet complex “S.I.L.K.”, organized by IDC, a leading provider of information and consulting services in the information technology market.
Hyperconverged Infrastructure 2019 was organized with the assistance of SILA and AERODISK, a developer and manufacturer of data storage and virtualization solutions.
The event included a discussion of the Russian market of hyperconverged solutions, prospects and directions for its development, advantages of hyperconverged solutions in the field of scalability, manageability and cost of ownership compared to traditional architecture.
At the forum, Sila and AERODISK presented a joint development - the vAIR hardware and software complex based on 4x SILA CP9-1626 servers in the SILA CP9-1600 chassis with Aerodisk vAIR pre-installed software. vAIR hardware and software complex is a high-performance platform for hyperscale workloads based on the native ARDFS file system, designed to ensure maximum reliability and density of virtual machines. The vAIR complex is easy to deploy and manage, has low cost of ownership, allows you to easily and flexibly scale computing resources without limiting the number of nodes. The platform is equipped with a built-in virtualization system based on KVM and with vSphere support and allows you to build a geographically distributed cluster.
